spark detection systems react to ignition sources
high speed reaction is activated downstream

Recent News
An excellent article published by baghouse.com reporting on an industrial fire investigation.
The subject is a wood pellet production plant where a large amount of money was spent to prevent re-occurance of a fire and explosion. A fire in the cooler in 2012 spread through the exhaust duct to the filter (described as the baghouse). The resulting explosion in the filter spread the fire due to poorly positioned explosion vents and the poorly installed explosion isolation gate, bursting open the under-strength ductwork.
Spark detection and extinguishing may not be the solution to every in-process fire hazard, but it certainly was in this case, as concluded by both the investigation and the article.

RWM Exhibition (Recycling and Waste Management)
11th to 12th September 2019
NEC, Birmingham
Hall No 5, Stand No P3
Raille will exhibit our spark detection system at this years RWM Exhibition at the NEC.
Visit Hall No 5, Stand No P3 to see a demonstration of spark detection and extinguishing in a dust extraction duct and ember detection in a drop chute. Typical applications include prevention of fires in the dust extraction filter and extinguishing of fires in shredding machinery.
